A Virtual Bash - Teaming up to Celebrate
A creative approach to recognize the achievements of marketing & communication professionals in today’s social reality
Spokane, WA - In lieu of an in-person soiree, Spokane MarCom Association’s annual Spark Awards will practice social distancing by gathering marketing and communications professionals together, digitally. Partnering with Hamilton Studio in Upper Kendall Yards, industry allies will be able to tune into the event online live Thursday, April 30th at 4:00PM, from the comforts of their own lavish pajamas.
The annual Spark Awards event is MarCom’s primary fundraising effort to support the Internship Fund, which provides deserving students paid public relations, communications, and marketing internships in the Spokane area. The selected students gain real-world industry specific experiences that will prepare them for their career. The Spark Awards recognize excellence in communications tactics and in strategic marketing communications and outreach campaigns that incorporate sound research, planning, execution and evaluation. With a competitive entrant pool, across a range of categories, a virtual toast to these achievements is sure to be a delight.
Powered by Hamilton Studio’s new state-of-the-art upgrades, the ceremony will blend pre-recorded video with live, in-studio content, to be streamed across the platform Zoom. Enhanced by the current limitations of COVID-19, “remote live streaming” is a new service offering, allowing individuals or businesses the opportunity to safely record or live stream a professional presentation. Hamilton’s considerable inventory of microphones, lighting and cameras bring high quality production to video streaming, all at a safe distance, with sterilization protocols to put mind at ease.
The Spark Awards are further supported with generous local business sponsorships from Greater Spokane Inc., Hamilton Studio, and Rogue Heart Media; with donations from Northern Quest Resort & Casino, DAA Northwest Auto Body Center, The Spokane Indians, The Great PNW, Eastern Washington University, and Hello Sugar.
